TAMMI LITTLE
PT, DPT, MFDc
I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ohio University in 2018 after attending Utah State University and earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
I grew up in Utah but have lived in various states and cities since, where I’ve gotten the chance to experience different cultures and meet people from all over the world.
I treat all body areas, including shoulders, hips, and knees, and my specialty is in treating back and neck pain. I am certified in dry needling, Myofascial Decompression, and educated in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment for the lumbar spine. I love to practice yoga, and as a patient, you will find that I often incorporate yoga poses and principles into my treatment methods.
I find joy in progress, laughter, and my relationships with others. I love a dusty garage workout, hiking, and spending time with my family, which includes my husband, three adopted cats, and two Great Danes. My current goals in life include expanding my business, continuing my education, and exploring the beautiful state of North Carolina.
Behind the Name...
“Fiddlehead PT was named after ‘fiddlehead’ ferns, a loosely defined term for the early growth stages of multiple fern species. Edible species are harvested throughout the Northeast US in the spring and cooked as a side or incorporated into other foods.
Growing up, I spent my summers in Maine with family, where fiddleheads were a staple in the area’s food and culture. They were always a familiar sight lining the roads and growing in wooded areas. Fiddleheads undergo significant physical change as they grow, which I felt fitting for a business established to help people optimize their bodies. Fiddlehead PT is a nod to physical transformation and a small thanks to the place and the people who inspired and encouraged me on my journey.”
